No Food After 8 PM, No Water in the Morning

Bandit was dropped off at the vet this morning for neutering and microchipping. We anticipated his coming home later this afternoon. Unbeknownst to us, neutering requires an overnight stay. I don't know who this is going to be harder on - Bandit or us.
