Keeping an Eye on Sierra

The family living directly behind us has a dog, too. Sierra is a huge black Newfoundland. She's a real gentle sweetheart of a dog. Her family has three children, all under the age of five, and you never see her in the backyard tackling the kids or jumping on them. When Bandit is outside the same time as Sierra, he loves to check her out. Sometimes he'll go to the fence to say hello, but Sierra often times ignores Bandit. He sometimes barks if she ignores him and he wants her attention. This is when we usually call him back into the house, in case one of the neighbor children is napping.

It's hard to see her but Sierra is on her deck in this photo, and Bandit's watching her every move

I think I need to get in the habit of cleaning the sliding door glass now that we have a dog again. What a mess!

Nose boogers on sliding doors and car windows are just the best!
