Muddy Toes

Whereas most of the country is dealing with ice, snow, and frigid temperatures, we here in the Pacific Northwest are dealing with our usual onslaught of rain.  Today is rather nasty.  It's not just a drizzle or a sprinkle.  It's pouring.  Each time Bandit is let outside and then let back in, he needs to be toweled off.  It's not a big deal and we're all pretty used to it.  However, I'm not used to thickly-caked muddy brown paws such as Bandit came to the door with today.  He didn't let me put his paws in warm water for a quick rinse, so he sat beside the bowl while I scooped handfuls to slosh onto his paws for a quick rinse.  What was he doing out there?!!

Ha ha One dog is easy and he's so little, so that must mean little paws!??

It's scorching hot here! I shudder to think what I should do if Eva comes home with 'chocolate' like paws :-)

I always have a good laugh when my dogs come in with muddy paws. They seem to have big smiles on their faces and tell me they have had a wonderful time playing outdoors! (Can you tell they've got me trained!) Hugs, Coralie
