Bandit's Home!

Bandit could be picked up after 9 a.m. this morning, so I think I got there around 9:05. When they brought him out he was a happy puppy and rolled over onto his back for a belly rub. Right away it was noticeable that he had licked his incision, so back he went into the back room with a technician to be fitted for an Elizabethan collar. He's actually doing okay with it, making it up and down the stairs just fine. In order for him to eat and drink, we had to raise his food dishes up a little (so some Ziploc boxes came in handy for that). He'll have to wear the collar for possibly up to three days. He has a prescription for some Rimadyl we will give him each morning through to Monday (he received his first dose this morning before pickup).

We are all so happy to have him back home! Simba was definitely worried about his buddy.
